Fir real - from 20% to 90% saleable trees with levy-funded support
When Lawrence Ranson started his Christmas tree nursery in the Blue Mountains in 2017, he didn't realise how strong Australia's levy model was - or how it could support him.

Help shape Australia’s import conditions for Xylella-host tissue cultures
If you import plant tissue cultures from high-risk Xylella countries or regions (including the Americas, Europe, China, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Taiwan, and Türkiye), the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) invites you to complete a short form about your offshore suppliers and supply chains.
This request was emailed directly to relevant importers on 27 August - if you haven't yet completed the form, make sure you have your say by 24 September.
